As summer is nearing to an end, many families are beginning to experience different types of life transitions. Some examples include sending a small child to preschool or kindergarten, sending an older child to college, experiencing empty nest syndrome.
Life transitions at any age can be difficult. At around the age of 40 (give or take several years), life transitions can trigger what is sometimes identified as a “mid-life crisis.”
